  24. You should read David Mitchell's book "Unruly". You'll find that the "core and back bone" you speak of isn't worth keeping.

  25. Its only misrepresentation if he campaigned on a platform of being a monarchist. A short few minutes spent looking at his political career makes it very clear that he's quite the opposite. The people who voted for him know what his views are, or at least have had plenty of opportunity to find out.

They're a shameful institution that represents the very worst of human traits and they're an archaic relic of a time when people believed in the insane notion of divine right.
