  3. ​ @oweng7987 You misunderstand the meaning of Armstice Day and are confusing it with both Armed Forces Day and Remembrance Sunday. Armstice Day is commemorating the cessation of hostilities. That's literally what it means. It is not a uniquely British thing. It is the perfect day to march for peace.

  14. Armstice means an end to hostilities. Armstice Day commemorates the ceasefire prior to the treaty that ended WWI. Learn your own history and stop embarrassing yourself.
