Comments by "Django" (@django3422) on "Why is everyone in England rioting?" video.
@jacqueslandry2319 Exactly, define what? British culture has changed and shifted constantly because that's what people do. You can't comprehensively define British culture for everyone.
2
@Evemeister12 That's not at all what they said, you're being disingenuous.
2
The first world war was an industrial genital measuring contest where young men were lied to and their lives thrown away for nothing. The second world war was fought because tyrants used social scapegoats to offer a simple solution to complicated problems. Something worth remembering.
2
That's not the right fix, that just exacerbates the problem, which Thatcher helped create by undermining social cohesion.
2
Jog on with your race science BS.
1
Are the Islamist terrorists in the room with you now?
1
Define it.
1
@jacqueslandry2319 Whats that got to do with defining British culture?
1
@jacqueslandry2319 You can't explain yourself so you resort to ad hominem attacks. Are you incapable or just too cowardly?
1
So what do you know that the last news anchor doesn't?
1
Its right wing to be motivated to violence by nationalistic and xenophobic attitudes.
1
Be honest about your stake in this. You hate Muslims because you're Hindu and you see this as a stick to beat the "other side" with.
1
You make a distinction between "the left" and "citizens". Why?
1
Why do you feel its been taken?
1
Being driven to violent action over nationalistic principles and xenophobic concerns makes you, at best, manipulated by the far right.
1
@TheLuketh1990 These particular half-hearted riots are being shunned as far right because the people involved seem primarily focused on nationalist and xenophobic ideals.
1
Can you name a riot started by "antifa"?
1
@TigerHighaf Antifa is short for anti-fascist and describes a very broad umbrella of activism. Its not an actual organisation as such, rather there are lots of little informal organisations and many individuals who define themselves as anti-fash.
1
You got evidence for that claim?
1
What do you think?
1
How are you turning advice to shelter inside from heat as an attempt at lockdowns?
1
Internet. You never used to hear about crimes happening around the country, you never used to get exposed to so much disinformation.
1
@mossfoster5317 Economy.
1
Its not working because folk like those kicking off refuse to accept it. They're being the problem.
1
That's you being dishonest in how you're framing this.
1
You complain about being called far right in the same comment were you talk about the "great replacement theory". Political and historical education is appalling in this country...
1
@RevanJ-c6x Okay. Doesn't address the point I was making to the other chap.
1
@RevanJ-c6x Do you understand that the "great replacement theory" is a far-right white supremacist conspiracy theory? I'm not referring to a general term but a specific thing. It originated in France.
1
Don't see the same reaction when white English commit crimes against English kids. Very selective outrage. Probably less about morals and more about biases.
1
What do you think far left ideology actually is?
1
No, there isn't.
1
Culturally conservative is really ridiculous stance to take. Cultures develop and change, you might as well try commanding the tide to stop.
1
@The3rdchip No, it doesn't. It just means you can't let go of your nostalgia. Like I said, you can't stop it from happening.
