  1. My adoptive mum (who had and still has mental issues) when she and my dad adopted me just told me today she never wanted to adopt me. She's like that. A bit nasty at times. It hurt me. My adoptive dad died a few years ago and I miss him like mad. I ALWAYS considered them my real family and even though I know the details of my birth mother I have no desire to contact her. tbh I'm wondering how my adoptive mum was ever allowed to adopt me when she was known to have mental issues.
