It takes a lot of training to shoot from a compressed position, I get it, but I think that the reason he extended his arm so he could get a clear shot because he didn't want to shoot the bystanders, shooting from compressed position is something that Israelis they train a lot from them they train a lot on that day and night, the hostage rescue people they train on that all the time because you have to know when to extend your arm, and you losing ability to shoot other targets and threats your only pointed in one direction from a compressed position you could change your shooting and also your hands and get both hands on the gun, compressed is good but you have to train for it
