This is not the only mistake in the Quran, there are others. It is written in the Torah that no man can be G-d. The Torah asserts that there is only one almighty, invisible G-d: "Hashem is G-d, there is nothing but Him" (Dvarim 4:35). G-d is one and indivisible and does not constitute a trinity: "If there is G-d in heaven above and on Earth below, there is no other" (Dvarim 4:39). The Quran (9:30) says: "And the Jews said: Uzair is the son of Allah," but in the Jewish tradition, the prophet Ezra was never considered either the son of God or the Messiah. ------- In the Torah in the book of Exodus (24:7) it is written that at Mount Sinai the Israelites promised Moses: "All that the Lord has said, we will do and we will obey," and in the Quran it is written: "We hear, but we do not obey" (Sura 2:93).
