  2. It's very obvious your body is rejecting this new implant - it happens sometimes, and especially with the typical titanium implants most conventional dentists use. You could be allergic to the metal. Zirconia implants are made from ceramic and much less likely to be problematic.

  3. You may be allergic to the metals used for the implant. Most dentists use Titanium; however Zirconia is non-metal and used more by Biological dentists. It's always best to have a metal test done before using Titanium. It sounds like your body is rejecting the implant, so I would heed the warning - you don't want to end up with more health issues down the line. Search "Dick Van Dyke and implants"; although his was extreme. Good luck to you :)

  4. Great podcast! Dr. Staci is very well-spoken and shared a lot of knowledge ... luckily most of it I already knew and/or am already doing! My QUESTION: How important is it to know the oral health of someone before you kiss? It took me a long time to recover from oral health issues and I have been "clean" for years; however what about a new partner?
