  1. I had a pinto. I did send it off to the dealer for the recall to reset the gas tank. It was a small thing and a minor inconvenience. The car was far from being carefree. The engine blew later on. I ended being given an orange Chevy Vega. That lasted longer. Neither was a durable car at all.5
