  1. The guy looks vacant. The lights are on, but no one's home. In psychologybthwy might say he could be on the spectrum (autism maybe), socially awkward and clumsy and off in his thinking. He likely holds a grudge for slights and perhaps was rejected by that group or one or two of its members. Revenge motivation? Narcissistic injuries abound. But as a personality, his shyness and clumsiness may relate more to schizoid type which is not to be confused as schizophrenia, which is entirely different. Perhaps a suicide risk. He's got something to prove maybe as well.

  2. I agree. He looks exactly like I'd expect a serial or mass murderer would look like. A bit vacant looking.
