  1.  @jerrytai5714  LOL you don't know what you are talking about. Are you seriously trying to convince a "Taiwanese" what Taiwan is and isn't? Nobody is talking about democracy so you can stop making arguments based on something that is irrelevant. The only reason why a "Taiwan" passport is accepted in the Shengen is because the power and the influence of the USA. Kissinger flew to Beijing and made a deal with the Communist Chinese Zhou En Lai to replace the ROC with the PRC. He then told Zhou how he would manipulate the UN vote and that he does not see Taiwan's status as "ambiguous" and that "One China-One Taiwan in only temporary." Nixon made sure this deal was kept a secret since he knows the American people would never agree to the betrayal of the ROC therefore he told his cabinet members to keep their mouth shut about this issue and stick to the script of the One China Policy. After the UN resolution 2758, The US received a lot of push back from the ROC as well as the international community that's why the US created the Taiwan relations act and subquently the six assurances. Everything about the ROC after 2758 became de facto and the term Taiwan never existed in the UN. The UN does not recognize "Taiwan." So again, the only reason why the world accepts the "Taiwan" passport under the condition that it is a passport of a de facto ROC. This is why the DPP can manipulate however they want with the passport but they can never get rid of the ROC completely because that is literally the name of this de facto country. The world allow the use of "Taiwan" because of both USA's soft and hard power. The PRC simply let things slide as long as Taiwan doesn't drop the ROC.

  7.  @thornados4969  Which part of UN Resolution 2758 do you not understand? "Restores all its rights to the PRC and to recognize the representatives of its government as the only legitimate representative of China to the UN and to expel the representatives of CKS from the UN and all the organizations related to it." The ROC you mentioned under the Treaty of Japan lost its legal authority after UN Resolution 2758. For shits and giggles I'll even list your BS treaty: 1952 Treaty of Taipei states: nationals of the Republic of China, shall be deemed to include all the inhabitants and former inhabitants of Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores) and their descendents who are of the Chinese nationality in accordance with the laws and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enforced by the Republic of China in Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores); and juridical persons of the Republic of China shall be deemed to include all those registered under the laws and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enforced by the Republic of China in Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores). "laws and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enforced by the Republic of China" - ROC before 1971 What does the constitution of the ROC say in 2023? "the territory of the Republic of China shall be based on its inherent territory and shall not be changed without a resolution of the National Assembly." The "Yearbook of the Republic of China" published by the Information Bureau of the Executive Yuan in 2005 once advocated that the four poles of the territory are: Far east: Heixiu Island at the confluence of Wusuli River and Heilongjiang River in Fuyuan Delta , Hejiang Province , 135°4' east longitude; Far west: Penchi River in Wakhan Pamir Plateau Xinjiang Province , 71° east longitude; Extreme South: Hainan Special Administrative Region Zengmu Shoal 's location in the shoal sea area, 3°10'~4° north latitude; Far North: The Sayan Ridge in Tangnu Uliang Sea, Mongolia , 53°57' north latitude. Please explain how the 1952 Treaty of Taipei is relevant when the constitution of the ROC today does not reflect the reality? Why not amend our definitino of territory if according to your BS treaty that the ROC only inclues Taiwan (Formosa) and Penghu (the Pescadores) ?
