  1. Normally don't, it looked as though that seal wasn't fully seated from the factory. The job of putting that seal in on the assembly line is a boring, monotonous job. Maybe the person in that position just screwed up and didn't get it fully seated.

  2. Big job to do by yourself! That seal seemed a little sus, it was like it wasn't fully seated to begin with? Also, when I go to do a transmission drain and fill, the operating temp should be 105°?
