@michaellawlor5625 it is a straightforward verse. We do not need anyone else other than Jesus Christ to talk to God. Neither should we pray to anyone else because prayer is worship. God put these verses in the bible for good reason, to stop men of the church from usurping His authority. He knew men would abuse these positions because too much power corrupts. @TimothyPMAkey no. That is the honest truth but my comment was pointing to a bigger problem. The Catholic church itself is built on pagan practices. That has nothing to do with the people who have been misled by these idolators. The church uses the Alexandrian bible which was written 170 years after John finished Revelation. These "leasers" invented purgatory which by definition says that Jesus Christ's death on the cross was not enough to cover some sin. These "leaders" removed the 2nd commandment from Gods word. They preach a works plus faith based gospel when Jesus himself said anyone who believes on me has everlasting life. They purport Mary to be sinless yet she called Jesus her savior, she also had children after Jesus. The people of Catholicism see these issues yet still follow these men. @michaellawlor5625 no debate, i just listed scripture that points to the Catholic church being a pagan religion. I like how you totally went around all if the plain scripture I listed and attempted to push it off as bad. Why follow a religion that goes against everything God says in the bible?
