  1. The 1.5L "earth dreams" engine is killing that reputation, theyve had to recall nearly 2 million vehicles so far because of that engine and its oil dilution problems. Ive had 2 Hondas and I loved both but both had the K24 engine.

  2.  @uncletoby-  BS and both Hondas and Toyotas are made in America! Domestic auto manufacturers use the absolute cheapest parts in the world. Their lack of dependability has nothing to do with who assembles them, it's the junk parts used. Japanese auto manufacturers put a high premium on the quality of their parts, that's the difference.

  4. Honda is killing their reliability by switching over to the 1.5L "earth dreams " engine, so many problems with oil dilution. I went with the 24' Camry SE primarily because of the drivetrain and sports tuned suspension. The 8 speed transmission was also a deciding factor.
