  1. The original men who designed the automatic transmission were and are brilliant engineers! I just purchased a new Toyota and along with bought an ATSG repair manual for the specific Aisin transmission thats in my car. These ATSG repair manuals tell you how to rebuild your transmission step by step. I hope that I never need to use it but if something should ever go wrong, the manual is a must have.
