@stonepa it's best to apply Fluid Film or Krown in the middle of summer. This is because that is when the pores in the metal are at their largest, and this allows the FF/Krown to seep into everything better.

@Prepare2Survive exactly, Krown as well. I believe Krown was actually developed by Toyota and the Canadian government.

@MichaelNomura-i9n rust proofing and undercoating are two different things. The rubberized undercoatings actually trap moisture in and will rust your car's undercarriage out faster, Fluid Film and Krown are aftermarket applications and are far superior at stopping your car from rusting out. Also, rust proofing your car includes inside the doors, wheel wells and engine bay.

@justliberty4072 Yes, metal has pores. A well-known garage here on YouTube stops doing Fluid Film applications once summer ends for this very reason. During the heat of summer, the pores in your cars metal components open, and the heat also helps the Fluid Film enter those pores. Just research metal pores. Cast metal, especially, has a tremendous amount of pores. Some auto manufacturers actually have issues with coolant seeping out through the cast metal because of this.
