If I were the person who had to come out of pocket for a replacement engine, I'd be contacting a lawyer. A quick search shows Volkswagen/Audi has issued a recall on 2021-2022 model vehicles due to, get this, cooling issues?

@Enthusiastlist Audi allowed the car to go out to the customer, they should stand behind their product.

@doctorboy5892 Ikr, how can a car manufacturer charge $60-$70k for a "luxury vehicle" then turn around & not warranty damage caused by a coolant line on that vehicle? The average driver may not even notice a slow coolant leak or creeping temp gauge until it's far too late. They chose to put that company's line/hoses on the vehicle, so they should be forced to deal with the consequences. It would be interesting to see if Audi issues a recall for that specific line/hose? I know if I owned a 2022 Audi S5, I would be making calls to Audi customer service until I get answers.

@doctorboy5892 well well well, guess what I just found? All I had to do was search 2022 Audi coolant line recall and sure enough Volkswagen/Audi has issued a recall for the 2021-2022 Audi S5 and a few other models because of cooling issues. If I was the person that had to come out of pocket for a replacement engine, I would be contacting a lawyer.
