  1. Dealerships have brainwashed people into thinking that turning a rotor is horrible! Why do rotor manufacturers list minimum thickness then? Its because prior to the year 2000, everyone had their rotors turned once or twice before replacing them! Quality rotors barely wear with one or two sets of pads. The paper thin rotors you see online are from people turning them too many times and then running metal to metal.
