  1. some people don't understand that detained and arrested is not the same as tried and convicted. police need to secure any x factors on sceen. hell if i shot at someone to defend someone they would detain me too just to get statements and figure out wtf is going on. do you have any idea how many times people lie to police or how many times police show up to chaos not knowing wtf is going on every single day. procedure usually is. Arrive on scene, secure scene, detain all suspects and last but not least get testimonies from parties to find out what the fuck happened by shifting through the stories to figure out what really happened. this is also why Swat zip ties civilians on site to secure them.

  3. just saying if everyone was carrying 9mm pistols and had training teens would think twice about pulling a gun in a shopping mall infront of 20 - 30 people.
