  1. Fully politicised money has dominated for the last century. Fiat fractional reserve currency means debased money imposed on all, corrupting freedom for the many so that politicians are free to spaff the cash. MMT requires this mickey mouse currency. There was no meaningful long-term inflation until politicians imposed sovietised money by coercion as Richard stated in a previous vid. The damage that fiat currency has done to (real) equality, prosperity and progress is unknowable but making the obvious comparsion with Switzerland and its semi-fiat money or just assets in general should make anyone suspicious.
