I don’t know what to say. The car is long, too long for my garage 😊, while the back is cramped. It looks good, but the interior shows some « cost cutting ». This basic armrest in the back, hard plastic on the front doors don’t look premium.

I was looking for leather seats for my new car, but you converted me, Thomas. I'll go for fabric ones. More ethical... and cheaper!

I’ll keep my 3 series for the moment, but this X2 is very desirable!

I personally prefer the BMW. It may be a little bit « too much », but the Audi looks bland, nothing premium. A rebadged VW.

Gross capacity is the maximum capacity of the battery, if it was discharged completely. As this would damage the battery, car electronics prevents that. When the car stops, the battery is not fully discharge. Hence the "net", the battery capacity you actually can use.

Peugeot rating is average, or just above average. not as good as most japaneses, better than many European brands.
6
Most EVs, and even hybrids, have similar limitations. There is only one country where you can drive that fast, anyway…
5
The buttons on the driving wheel and around it are the same than the previous Swift.😊 I have both a Swift and a BMW, and I’ll check if what you say is true. It is not, at first glance…😂
4
The Volvo is smaller, though. Not the same segment. A Captur or a 2008 is also cheaper…
4
The citroen is not based on the same platform. Both the opel and peugeot use the EMP2, CMP for the citroen.
4
I agree! Why no fabric seats, if they want to be animal friendly? Fake leather reminds me of leatherete we had in the 70s in "people cars". It could burn you if the car was left under the sun, and was very cold in winter.
3
Price. Probably €20k instead of €25k for the Citroen.
3
A top trim BMW 3 series was 143 hp for the same weight in 1975. And it was considered as a sports car. 😂
2
I agree. Just like if they slapped a sporty look to a family car.
2
I have the « previous » one. Same buttons, steering wheel, etc… Basic car, basic comfort with the rigid rear beam and minimal soundproofing., but it was cheap😊 It WAS cheap. Now not so much now,😮
2
Cork looks nice when new, but I suspect it will become dirty in no time, as there is no way to clean it properly.
2
Batteries are very expensive.
2
@dzonikg i don’t understand. You complain because your country’s factories are closing, and you ask for more competition, even unfair, which will force to close more factories ?
2
Maybe something under the Chrysler badge in the near future? Stellantis owns it, and Dodge too.
2
I hate that car. Ugly, costly, noisy, small inside, with small windows in the back and cramped seats looking more like a torture basement, poor quality interior and weak engine. It ticks everything.😊
2
I understand why the Renault Captur sells so well : as comfortable, more powerful and with an interior as nice as this one. And it is cheaper and looks better.
2
I don’t like leatherette, it reminds me of the Skaï we had in the 60s and the 70s, only marginally more comfortable. And nobody can tell what it will look like in 10 or 15 years. If you look at sofas made in china that literally decompose after a few years, I am not very confident. I prefer a nice fabric, or Alcantara for a premium feel.
2
What’s better?
2
@vladislavdimitrov4646 thé advantages of a 3 series in a more compact size. Good quality interior, good comfort.
2
It’s a joke.
1
A smartphone with Nyosh will do, I think. Cheap and efficient.
1
There was also a badge on the side on many Peugeot high trims cars in the past, 404, 504,...

BMW is a premium brand. To be compared to Lexus, not Toyota.
1
No, Captur and Clio for the base and interior.
1
It is the other way around: Dacia use Renault parts.
1
Better fuel economy, better aerodynamics.
1
They will last 20 000 kilometers . Then you V can change for better ones 😂
1
@Johnny91832 i was talking of the look. Both cars are very good premium cars, no question about that. But the Audi looks like its Skoda or VW siblings, nothing special. The BMW has a unique look, maybe too aggressive or weird for some, but definitely more eccentric and more suited to a premium cars which must look different.
1
@AdorntheKid I was talking about the look of the car, not the car itself. Which is probably as good as the BMW.
1
@Explosivo93 I was talking about the look. Not the car itself. It looks like a Skoda or à VW.
1
It is the bottom one, closest to the driver, on my 3 series.
1
Polestar is not available here in France, because citroen sued them (Their logo looks like the Citroen one)
1
Well, automatic lights is mandatory in Europe. 😊 But I understand what you mean.
1
Taxes on Chinese cars (except for EVs) are only 10%. Meaning that a car that costs 20000€ will cost 18000€. Not a huge difference, I think.
1
Bulb Head lamps and hard plastic on the rear door? Ten inch screen? 16 inches wheels. Is this premium? A Dacia offers the same in its base model! Come on??!!
1
Same buttons and boot cover than in my BMW...
1
Not the same thing… Not the same price… No white expanded polystyrene in the boot of a 3 series…
1
Same concern : how will it look after a few years? How to clean it?
1
And the worst is that it is probably found on the higher trim! I would bet that lower ends will have the metal body!
1
With these crappy turning signal buttons on the steering wheel, the crappy obstacle detection, no 360 camera view? No, I don’t think so. I tested recently the Model 3, and these, added to the uncomfortable seat were a dealbreaker.
1
The large battery Techno trim here in France is 33k€… minus 4k€ incentive, 29k€. Why is this car so expensive in the UK?
1
Maybe it looks better IRL, but I don’t like the style of this new version. I hope that it will be cheap. Suzuki are as expensive now than many competitors, here in France, who offer better comfort and interiors for the same price.
