  1. It is not because you have seen something you can make it. It just indicates that it is a viable way to do something. To copy, you need to know which grades of steel are used, tolerances, have the correct steel and machine tools precise enough to make parts, etc… This is not something anybody can deduce from a video. It is like jet engines : while very simple in principle, with very few moving parts, very few countries can design and build one.

  2.  @georgejohnson7591  my point is there is a loooong way to go between what can be deduced from this video to reverse engineering. The next step, as with your example with cars, or mine with the jet engine, is to obtain one. Then after, determining what can be done with the materials and machine tools available. It may be the case that, like for my example with the jet engine, some parts simply cannot be manufactured because they require knowledge, materials, or manufacturing capability that are missing. And, even if a clever trick is discovered when studying the original, it is possible it cannot be obtained from inferior materials or without very specialized machines.
