  2.  @verynice9595  i agree that Trump will probably do just that. However, there is a limit : if the US don’t pay for European defense, European countries will have no incentive to « buy US ». And it is the death of NATO (Macron, our president, has already asked European countries to take over their defense, and stop relying on the US). Trump will probably ask for more money from European countries, but he cannot stop investing in European defense, as it is the reason why many NATO countries buy from the US.
