  3. His only weapon is economics. Sanctions. Tariffs. The thing is, the only countries that would suffer from that are US allies, who have strong economic ties with the US. Potential ennemies, like Iran, North Korea, Russia, Afghanistan don’t care : they are already under sanctions. So Trump threatens his friends, because he can, not his enemies, because he cannot.

  4. I remember a few years ago, when Macron was pleading for a European defense. Telling that NATO was an empty shell. Everybody laughed at him. « We have NATO », they said. « And the US! They will never leave us, it is in their interest! » Now, nato is almost dead, the US will do nothing for us. And the sh*t hit the fan.😢
