@1chish
I don't think you fully understand what I said.
Japan will not "invest in your country". Ford, Nissan and Toyota made clear they will close down their factories in the UK in case of no deal.
FIAT is merging with PSA at the moment. The new group, Stellantis, owns Jeep, Chrysler and RAM in the US and can easily switch to any EU model there for the UK if needed (Jeep models are already based on FIAT).
All those groups manufacture cars all over the world, including China and don't care if the money comes from the USA, Europe or wherever else.
Citroen, Peugeot, VW, BMW... are designed in the EU, with thousands of people working there. Only a part of the jobs is in manufacturing. Furthermore, manufacturing that is in the UK at the moment will be relocated back in the EU. PSA, Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Jaguar made that clear too.
Nissan factory in Spain was supposed to close down. This is delayed. it may replace the Sunderland factory in case of no deal.

@jamesu1540 No, I don't know where you get your data, but they are wrong.
UK is the 3rd regarding fishing, with 723 000t, behind Spain and Denmark, France is 530 000t. In total, catches in UK waters account for 30%
Fishing represents 166 000 jobs in the EU, 23 000 in France. With a no deal, Eu fishermen will loose 30% of their income.
It means first that, if some fishermen will loose their job, not all fishermen will. And the EU can economically compensate them for their loss.
Second, What looks strange is that, if French fishermen rightly fear a no deal Brexit, and Macron rightly backup that, UK citizens seem to welcome it. As stated above, UK fishing industry is larger than French one, and most of the fish is exported to the EU, if not processed there. One would imagine that a deal would benefit UK and be welcome...
Anyway, it is not up to the UK to decide what is good or bad for the EU. The EU can do it without any help or advice.
