  3.  @kevt3318  My point is: if immigration was a real concern for the UK, it could, while in the EU, limit or stop it by imposing minimum wages. So, you did not need to be an "independent nation" to limit immigration. What I understand is that Brexit was the only way for you to convince your political parties to do so, as they thought that immigration and low wages were good for your economy. This has nothing to do with the fact you were in the EU, it was a disconnection between UK people and UK political parties. An internal UK affair EU had no saying in.

  4. Your government agreed on that and signed the agreement. It was even ratified by your parliament. If you are not happy with EU proposal for a trade agreement, just walk away. But you have to stick to your promise, if you have some honor.

  5.  @johnstrong2917  I was not clear enough, sorry. Everybody pays its fish, of course. It is not about national waters. It is about quotas: if no agreement is found on quotas, nothing will prevent UK to overfish. And it will hurt EU fishermen, as fishes have no borders. Same, if UK allows fishing when EU fishermen cannot fish, it will be considered as unfair competition. There was a "war" last year on scallops for this reason. EU will not accept that and some retaliation will be put in place. So, in short, this is not "your" fish, it's "our" (UK EU) fish.

  6.  @kevt3318  Why hate the immigrants? This low wage policy was decided by the governments YOU voted in. YOU, British, could have imposed minimum wages, also applicable to EU immigrants, to prevent that.

  8. Fishes have no borders. There are NOT your fishes. You don't have the right to empty the whole sea simply because you fish in your waters. Fish is a resource to be shared between EU and UK.
