  1. This is an AMI tweaked by Valeo, not the standard one. They did not only remove the speed limit, but changed the electronics and batteries and, probably, modified the drivetrain.

  2.  @koppernic  i read some articles about the Valeo AMI. the details are confusing (some say it is the same Citroen car without speed limiter, some others that it is a different prototype powertrain, ...). Valeo says they propose the eAccess powertrain which speed can range from 45 to 100 km/h, but with no details (is it a software limit or are there some hardware modifications?).So, you may be right.
