This is an AMI tweaked by Valeo, not the standard one. They did not only remove the speed limit, but changed the electronics and batteries and, probably, modified the drivetrain.

@koppernic i read some articles about the Valeo AMI. the details are confusing (some say it is the same Citroen car without speed limiter, some others that it is a different prototype powertrain, ...). Valeo says they propose the eAccess powertrain which speed can range from 45 to 100 km/h, but with no details (is it a software limit or are there some hardware modifications?).So, you may be right.
