  1. The difference is that Russia is the invader, while Ukraine is supposed to be the underdog. It is as if USA had struggle for three years against Saddam army and had to send M60s to Irak, along with Phantom fighters because of a lack of modern hardware. Ukraine relying on old stuff was expected, not Russia.

  4.  @stealthsec9207  that was just a demonstrator. The F-15 EX would require an extensive airframe redesign to a accomodate thrust vectoring. On an ageing aircraft, it's pointless.
