So, it seems from that sentence that James is not some fellow Christian brother, in a figurative sense, but an actual blood brother. Otherwise, it would not be « the » brother and Peter, as a Christian, would be included.
This is confirmed by Josephus, the Jewish historian, who talks of James, the brother of Jesus « called the Christ ».
So, sorry, but even Paul agree that James was actually Jesus brother, and this is confirmed by an extra biblical source.
