  1. And gun tubes. High velocity tank guns wear very quickly. It is worn out after 100/200 shots compared to an artillery tube which lifetime is ten times that. Meaning that if a tank shoots a few rounds everyday, it must be sent to the rear for tube replacement after a week or two.

  2.  @randomnobodovsky3692  the issue is that a worn out tube is unpredictable, as it was never designed for that and can explode.
