  1. The Russians published on last week a list of French volunteers supposedly killed in a missile strike. At least 4 of them are alive and well, and none of French contacted reports having lost a friend. Russian propaganda published that the day after President Macron announced France will supply more missiles and ammunition, but they did not try to make their claim believable. They target the audience that does not go deep into news. Medias around the world announced that 65 POWs were killed, they have hit their target. They don’t care if it is confirmed afterward that no POW was onboard. The semblance of plausibility is enough as far as the media, in Russia, or preferably in the world, reports the news. And it is true for every Russian claim. They want people to feel that Russia is winning, will win this war, or at least doubt.
