With 19, soon 20% interest rate, nobody can invest in new factories or modernize existing ones. It is unlikely that productivity will improve or more domestic goods will be available without investments…

@johnm2879 there is so much you can do with what you have. Specially when high interest rates are coupled with the lack of workers. And high inflation does not help either. Domestic market will decline with no hope to modernize it. Not surprising, This is a war economy, after all.
