  2. According to some Russian sources troops have been brought from other parts of the front, weakening their offensive. For the conscripts, they were supposed to hold the line, we don’t know if they are still there. « Special forces » are not supposed to fight in trenches.

  9.  @hermansohier7643  most military people I follow agree that it is genius. It shows to the Russian that they may not win this war, boost Ukrainian morale, deplete the forces that were attacking on other parts of the front and can be use for negotiations if they hold it. And nobody can think of any new « retaliation » other than what the Russians did so far.
