  2.  @rrts-f7w  the question is not how Putin justified that war, but is the supposed NATO expansion a good enough reason to kill thousands of people and flatten their cities? I don't think so. Furthermore France and Germany made clear they would oppose Ukraine membership in NATO few years ago. Putin invaded nonetheless We would have better accepted them from the start. It would have deterred Putin.
