  1.  @mynameisnobody5295 Opel and Vauxhall were sold to Peugeot few years ago. There are not GM anymore.

  2.  @mynameisnobody5295  Peugeot merged with FIAT in 2021, under the new name of Stellantis. They own Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Chrysler in the US. And many other in Europe, apart from Fiat and Peugeot Citroen, including Opel and Vauxhall. Stellantis will stay in the US as long as there is money to make there. They will never import cars from the US to Europe : they have a complete range more suited to European taste. Even Jeeps in Europe are made in Italy.

  3. Dodge Ram belongs to an European company, Stellantis. Why do Americans think Stellantis will export cars from the US when they have factories in Europe?😮 These trucks are specifically made for the US market, to be sold there, not for export. Because there is already a 20% tariff on trucks imported in the US since the 70s.

  4. And here comes the WTO. What do you think will happen if the US puts high tariffs on some imported goods? Exporting countries will retaliate by putting tariffs on US imported goods. Last time the US did this, the EU targeted some specific goods made in states where senators or governors voted for these tariffs. Nobody will win, in the end.
