to say flat earthers are "stupid" is a naive statement... these people probably have questioned, and therefore "know" more about the "Globe" than anyone who just sat in elementary school and said "w.e. teach, the earth is round.... now how much longer till recess!!!??" ;p;p;p

@mschedler4984 they still know more about the subject than your average person... this is undeniably true. your generalizing based on stereotype. here, I will paint it simply for you. if I right now set out to "disprove" the globe theory.. or flat earth or any subject. I will therefore learn more about said subject then i knew before i set out... flat earthers are a large group of people spanning all levels of intelligence... No1, no matter how smart they are, can know everything. which is why to beg the question will always gain you in knowledge. I commend any ones search for truth and knowledge. right or wrong you will further cement what is true. if not for yourself than for others. be open minded my man ;p;p;p these flat earthers have taken it upon themselves. adding to the conversation. involving those who would otherwise be indifferent to whether the earth was flat, globed, hexagonal or what have you...and for that i commend them, rather than label or demonize, be part of the conversation. bring your own observations to the table. be original.

@Lee.S..B u know I think your absolutely right about that Lee. ;p;p nice. I would like to meet the guy coming up with all these hypothesis and reasoning. "at times" he can be pretty creative ;p;p;p by no means am i one who is convinced that the world is flat... but its good entertainment listening to sum of their reasoning and sum of the time of it does get you thinking.. and therefore learning. things you never knew before. be it mundane/interesting facts or w.e. have you. much more people dont care at all about any scientific facts/knowledge. they just say "ok" and just as you referred to, "parrot" scientific consensus. infact, that covers 90% of the population upwards. its a good sign that people are debating. ;););P
