Jesus teaches that parents should never have a hand with whom their child marries..... and it makes perfect sense that way... before his teachings marriages in general were largely arranged by parents..... it seems that if there were no arrangement involved in marriage, whether it be by parents or religion, you would never end up with the marrying of family members on such a large scale, as people are naturally not attracted too their family members.......... foodforthought ;p
