  1. The U.S. does use metric for some measurements like liquid. While milk can still be found in 1 gallon and 1 quart sizes, soft drinks, wine and hard liquor are metric in the U.S. Bottled water is commonly available in 1/2 liter bottles. 2 liter bottles of soda (pop) are very popular in the U.S. One thing I'll never get used to is when it comes to temperature, 90 degrees Fahrenheit sounds hot, 30 Degrees Celsius sound cold. 70 degrees sounds like a nice temperature, 21 degree (Celsius) well...not so much...lol
