  1. Fascinating subject. I wasn't aware of the Times Square antenna tower. Before 9/11 the FM and TV stations used to transmit from both the World Trade Center, and the Empire State Building. Regarding WBGO 88.3 they used to or maybe still do mainly transmit from one of the tall insurance buildings in downtown Newark. The last time I heard them, they were an all jazz station.
