  6. Different EU countries has difficult energy mixes and different logistical structures for energy. It takes long time to replaice all oil and gas from Russia with supplies from other countries which also would cost several times more than today. Several EU countries just can't swith off the oil and gas supplies over the night from Russia because that would cause enormous damages for the economy in EU with massive unemployment in companies shutting down their production and crisis for the housholds. So the main focus should be to keep economy on track in the EU and even accept paying for gas and oil from Russia over a time period in that currency in the way that is necessary in the current situation. The EU Comission should help the member states and not make bad much worse by threatening EU members in a crises like the sadly ongoing war in Ukraine!

EU can never ever help Ukraine if our economy in EU would collapse because of the energy crisis. Stop killing in Ukraine would mean to start negotiations immidiately between US and Russia as this is a proxy war between theese two in which Ukraine the place where these conflict sadly takes place. Unfortunately none of these two has any common standpoint at all to start negotiations so far...although both has responsibility that this tragic war situation occured.

We don't need to think the same or agree but we need to try having reasonable relationship countries among, just because we travel in the same ship. Today we have 3 superpowers and they have their own goals and interests. That is anaivity and a mistake for us in the EU to think that some of these 3 superpowers do has the same interests as us. They absolutely don't! The EU has the intest to have not only freedom but also energy supply that is both reliable, enough fir our needs and costs reasonable. That is not a freedom but beeing dependent buying gas and oil for several times higher than today, that is actualy a slave relationship based on hysterical political view of interests.   27. You don't need to "like" the way Russia acts...but Russia has almost endless oil and gas resources nearest the EU. Fact that the EU still will use large volume of oil and gas, as renewable energy can't cover all needs. What is plan B for the EU? Unsecure volumes and deliveries of oil and LNG from other part of the world mainly otside Europe that causes lot more eco-footprint (why the climat activists are so silent now?!) at several times higher prices for companies and households which will completely rase the competiviness of the EU and cause bakruptcy for companies and high level of unemployment and even energy powerty for us in the EU! An obviously illegal action as most of the countries in the wold have never approved that and ratificated Kosovo as a legitim state and country. Just one question: if the US and the EU think that this is OK (which is obviously NOT) how on Earth the have any words in the case when Russia does the same in Ukraine!? But what is the reason that has resulted that deadly conflict beetween two brother nations: russians and ukraines? The reason is that US want in every way avoid that EU (most german capital and high tech) and Russia (enourmous nature and hunman resources) cooperate. That would create a superpower the US couldn't beat. The main interest in the view of the US to create a long-term conflict far away from the US in Europe between, that would weaken both Russia and the EU at the same time. The way to achive this goal is pushing NATO agressively towards Russia. As former US foreign minister Kissinger said once: don't push the Russian bear near its nest because he'll be agressive. That is exactly what we see now. Furthermore the US encouraging of the EU sanctions on oil and maybe gas against Russia would just open for new pussibilities for the US to sell their dirty oil and LNG at much higher price than originally the Russian ones. What is that if not the US is a winner and the EU is a looser. Anyway, the Russians will sell their oil and gas in Asia. However the Russians has earned as much just during 4 month as they normally would during a whole year. So wo is the winner and who is the loser? About NATO membership of Finland and Sweden, that is just emotional of these two countries as they today has no conflict with Russia. But a NATO membership should place both countries in the status of enemies for Russia. Why that is so good for Finland and Sweden???
