Everyone watching this DW report should think about: - While approx 40 countries (The West) support Ukraine, approx. 160 countries in the world (The Rest = not West) eighter support Russia in some way or don't condemn Russia. - Although West pumped in so much money of taxayers into Ukraine and weapons no other country ever got in help yet it is obvious now that Ukraine is not capable to get back and never will get back the territories Russia has conquered (Chrimea + Luhansk/Donbass) and the only tragic thing what happens is that even more people die as the war prolongs. 3. Although Russia of course feels at some level the effect of the sanctions against the country, Russia has not collapsed but the Russian economy still goes strong while the people/countries specially in the EU suffer even harder from their own sanctions against Russia at the same time. It is realy time to stop any escalation of this tragic war. It is time to stop finance a war with taxpayers money of the US and EU in Ukraine, in a country destroyed and standing on the edge of bakruptcy. It is time for cease-fire to save lives and start peace talks NOW! 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

Wrong angle... Putin and Russia has no intention to attack NATO, he knows a direct confrontation with NATO = WW3. And WW3 would be probably a nuclear war with total disaster in the world. However, although Russia is the aggressor in Ukraine, this tragic war was provoked by the US. Pls, read the blog of the world famous US economy professor Jeffrey Sachs on his blog with the title "The war in Ukraine was provoked - And why that matters to achive peace" published 23th May to understand the real background and reason of the war in Ukraine (you find this very easy when you google the title). If someone, Jeffrey Sachs knows the background well, he was advisor of several governments in the region...and his view althoug has criticism against Russia, as hard agains the US as well.
