  1. This is so stupid. "Would y'all have left her in that car if you thought it was not on?" King: "Never" Why would you leave anyone, who you know can't get out of a car on their own, in a car, whether the car was running or not running? WHY NOT TAKE HER BACK INSIDE THE HOUSE? Where do they get off acting like it was okay to leave Cristina in a car for more than five hours? With no water? Probably with a dirty diaper? It's like a red herring in this trial. Instead of focusing on leaving the disabled child unattended, helpless, unable to get herself out of the car, they're focusing on whether or not the freaking AC was on for the more than five hours she was shut up in that car by herself.

  4. Why would they leave anybody, much less a disabled child, alone in a car, even if the car was on and AC was running? You know the week after this happened, one of her daughters did the same thing to her kids. Left them in a running car with AC blowing warm air (apparently it didn't work), and went shopping in Walmart. Cops were called and her kids were put in foster care. Not sure what's happened since then.

  9. It does if you left it on when you put the car in park. If you turned the AC off when you parked the car, then when you start the car again, you'll need to turn on the AC again.

  12. However, I don't know of any car that will allow it to be locked while running. Maybe cars manufactured in the 70s and prior? Maybe they need to get a Volkswagen expert on the stand, if they haven't already.
