  2.  @equalityforall4175  Well the insurance company is going to be interacting with LE to make sure the beneficiary is not the murderer before they pay (or they should or they're out $). So sorry about your friend, that is awful 😞 And yes I've heard of murderers assuming they were still the beneficiary but the insured had changed it before they were killed and not told them.
