  1. No one should be surprised that she shot her son...least of all her son. As the Family and Marriage Atty stated, a child would be afraid to tell the truth since the only person left to take care of him could do the same to him as she'd done to his father. So he actually should have told the truth and testified against his mother. Then maybe she wouldn't have had the chance.
