I can explain why she went back to him after jail… When u have been isolated for a long time and no longer have family or friends, it feels IMPOSSIBLE to leave, considering that you’ll fall into even more isolation living alone and not at least having ur partner and the few others surrounding them. So you’d go from being 98% isolated to 100% real quick. And the thought of being 100% isolated is not a chance u wanna take. Also factor in the lack of financial support and not being able to see your kids everyday (assuming the custody would be 50/50). So ya, it’s always easy to say “just leave”. But once u get sucked in that deep it usually ends in tragedy, if u don’t get lucky enough for the abuser to leave you 😢
