Exactly! And even the girls who don’t have purses still have items they take with them everywhere like phone, keys, wallet, etc. I was also thinking about how it’s almost impossible to go anywhere without your wallet too, since u need money to run (most) errands. And if u were trying to run away and start a new life, you would DEF need your wallet. Any detective who has common sense would ask everyone who knew her if she ever left the house without her purse just to be sure. But ur right that this generalization is a true one, as 95% of women take their purse with them everywhere they go

@askmisscrowecheyennecrowe306 Good point. Generalizing is only good when your erring on the side of caution. As in, thinking anything the slightest bit off is suspish rather than ignoring something important like a runaway teen since ‘a lot of teens run away’. Idk if I explained that very well lol but It’s better to think everything is suspish and get proven wrong, than ignoring important details resulting in not being able to solve the case.

Right?!!? They should always ask the family if it was normal for her to leave the house without her purse/wallet, which 99% of the time it would be a NO since almost everything you do outside of the house requires spending Money. And if they didn’t make generalizations, they wouldn’t solve any cases because nothing would ever be considered suspish.

Exactly!! Most women don’t leave the house without their purse, so it’s safe to say that’s suspish! Plus 99% of the things u do outside of the house require spending money, so YES it’s weird for anyone to leave their wallet behind. The logical thing to do is ask the family if it was normal for her to leave the house without her purse (like if she would frequently go hiking or to the park or whatever). It’s kinda funny how most men who murder their wife don’t get rid of their phone, purse/wallet or whatever to give the illusion that she “ran away”. So they end up getting caught a lot a lot faster lol

I was thinking that too!! Or what if she finds his check stubs one day thinking it’s gonna say ‘XYZ medical group’ but says Carl’s Jr. or something lol. Not only that- but what if she showed up to his ‘work’ to bring him lunch one day? Or asks him a medical related question that he can’t answer? Or glances at their tax paperwork? I just wonder if he was gonna come up with some excuse for why he couldn’t graduate to become a doctor, or was he going to get a different job and claim he’s a doctor? Either way, he’s comically insane to think he can keep up a lie like that

How insane do you have to be to be lying about things where the truth is going to come out eventually and u think u Can hide it forever??🙄. I’ve seen a few episodes like that on Dr Phil where the woman lies about being pregnant, despite knowing they would eventually have to produce a baby to keep the lie going. But this is even more insane than lying about being pregnant, cuz u Can always adopt a baby and say u gave birth to it or claim miscarriage or whatever; but there’s no way u can keep up the whole doctor lie because eventually your wife is going to notice no income coming in. Was he going to get a different job and still claim he’s a doctor?? 🤨 What happens if his wife shows up to his ‘work’ one day, or looks at their tax paperwork, or comes home for lunch one day and sees him home? there’s just no way to keep a lie like that forever and anyone with half a brain knows that. So yes, he’s definitely insane to believe he could keep a lie like that forever, but not insane enough to not know what he was doing when he killed her.
