The internet is generally safe, it’s social media where they meet these creeps. So no FB, snap, insta, or twitter. But simply being online like YT, Roblox, or other games is (at least 99% of the time) is fine. On that note, it needs to be very well known to the children how anyone who tries to contact them on the internet, wether it be through the chat feature on a game or a YT comment, needs to be ignored. NO talking to ANY strangers period!!! Then routinely check their phones to make sure they’re following the rules. It’s sad we have to do all that tho 😢

It makes me sick cuz I guarantee if her parents were there, they would’ve stopped her from grabbing the gun. she could’ve told them about the situation and they would’ve called police and got him caught and ended the problem right then and there… I bet that haunts her mom still to this day, and why her dad offed himself. He couldn’t live with the guilt of allowing her to have snap chat and also access to his gun, and the guilt was too unbearable for him 😢. Now her mom has to carry all the guilt by herself, which is so heartbreaking
