  1. I think they have a lot of rules & restrictions that prevents them from looking further into the issue. For example, if they claim they’re being withheld food, all they have to check is for locks on the fridge. Once they see there’s no lock, they have to move on and not question further or they lose their job for “wasting too much time”. I’m just making this assumption cuz virtually every cps case is always the same. They just look at one small thing and that’s it. I just can’t believe that every cps worker is evil. There’s gotta be a lot they can’t do, even when they see something sus. They need physical proof, and if it’s not there they have to leave. Very sad and maddening either way
