I agree, idk why Danielle was so upset about that. Not to mention, the stepdads behavior most def became stricter and stricter as time went on bc the kid was so defiant and he felt like he had to… And honestly, making a kid eat breakfast is something u SHOULD be making them do ESP when u have such a strong leverage as Christmas presents to incentivize them into doing it. I personally wouldve offered something else to eat, but I dont think it’s a bad thing unless the kid really hated eggs and the dad only gave him it for that reason, like to torture him. But if he was a regular egg eater and was just being defiant that day, then I could understand why he did that. He was trying to get his behavior corrected and the mom was hindering it, so he had to get stricter and stricter..

@samanthaberch ANY kid would act like that if their mom allows it. What kid wouldn’t open bags of candy at the store if their mom let them? They dont realize it’s wrong!

@ilana8153 Why is that bad? You need to follow the laws and rules everywhere u go or you’ll get kicked out or arrested everywhere u go. You also wanna do social societal Norms like being polite and respectful towards others. Not conforming to societal norms makes u a Karen 🤷♀️

@cececox6399 I thought the same thing. As Danielle described it, she thought taking off with him would put both his and her life in danger. Which she was obv right about. But ya, I could never leave my baby behind even if it meant staying with an abusive man… But it’s also worth noting she was still in high school. Not that it makes it ok, but it’s fairly common for teen mothers to do that 😬

I would think she learned a very good hard lesson from this. Idk how mentally stable she is, but any sane rational person would’ve learned from this and stopped immediately…. If not, what a nightmare! ESP considering how gma’s are way more lenient on their grandkids than they were with their kids 😬

@Puckybites Great point! It’s prolly a 50/50 combo of the mom’s negligence and the father abandoning… I’m honestly shocked he didnt abandon his own son as well.
