⁠ @martinezgonzalez11 I don’t think he was manipulated, it sounds like he just wanted to be with gypsy and Dede was in the way of that, and he also realized she was being abused & isolated so badly that killing her was the only way out. She was never gonna let her leave the house and make friends or have a partner, so he likely felt that he had no other choice. He also prolly knew that Gypsy wouldn’t/couldn’t muster the courage to do it herself cuz it was after all her mom… I actually feel really bad for the guy cuz it seems like he was only trying to save her and be with her, and it backfired on him in the worst way

@alecosfan I would love to know the Same thing. Even tho he wasn’t the one directly impacted, it was self defense. Dede was never gonna let her leave the house, get a job, have friends, have a partner, etc. She was gonna live drugged up in complete isolation until she died. So it sounds like he was just trying to save her and be with her. Although I do think he should’ve called CPS, maybe her father, or anyone else who could’ve possibly done something about it before jumping straight to murder. So he should get maybe 5-10 years or so, but certainly not life 🤷‍♀️

@youareworthalot1228 They are discussing non-viable pregnancies tho, meaning the baby has already died or is about to die. I’m not here to debate wether abortion is right or wrong, but this particular subject is specifically talking about babies that aren’t going to live. So at this point they’re only removing a dead fetus so it doesn’t hurt or kill the mother. You can’t kill something that’s already dead… This isn’t your typical abortion case where the mom & baby are both perfectly healthy, which to me sounds like what you’re talking about.

I hate that word too! I know legally they have to say it if the person hasn’t been convicted yet and is awaiting trial. In this case she died before a trial could take place, so maybe that’s why they’re saying it. 🤷‍♀️ Either way, there’s thousands of pieces of clear evidence that she’s guilty, so the word alleged seems very inappropriate when we’re 100% certain what she did 😒

Maybe they were on their way home from work and didn’t wanna camp out at a random parking lot overnight and/or underestimated the actual amount that was coming. Also, a lot of ppl are out of groceries (esp today on a Sunday) so they don’t have much of a choice.
